With over two decades of experience in the industry, Lesley’s journey as a hair stylist has been nothing short of remarkable, culminating in the founding of her namesake salon in 2015.
Throughout her illustrious career, Lesley Rogers has not only extended her talents to a plethora of local editorial work and become a sought-after hairstylist for prominent New Orleans events, but she has also made her mark on movie sets, where actors sought her expertise for method research. In addition to her impressive hairstyling accomplishments, Lesley boasts a rich educational background, having served as an educator for Rusk for a decade. She has traveled the country, contributing her expertise to hair shows, teaching in-salon, prepping models for the stage, and even performing on-stage work at hair shows. Her extensive experience in sales at trade shows underscores her dedication to her craft, and she attributes her success to the solid foundation that Rusk provided. Moreover, Lesley spent 11 years working alongside a barber, amassing a devoted following of male clients for her exceptional barbering services.
Hailing from Southern Louisiana, Lesley’s roots run deep in the culture of the region. After Hurricane Katrina, she made a purposeful move to New Orleans, driven by a desire to contribute to the city’s rebirth. Her well-established salon reflects her unique and globally honed stylistic skillset, infused with the essence of New Orleans. Within the walls of her salon, Lesley has crafted an ambiance of unparalleled intimacy and a genuine sense of community.

Hervé Lapuente
Hervé Lapuente is an award winning, professional hairstylist with over 35 years amassed in the industry. His innovative work has contributed to an impressive portfolio featuring celebrity work, Fashion Week beauty direction, and national fashion editorials showcased in prestigious publications like Harper’s Bazaar and InStyle.
With an unwavering commitment to nurturing talent, Hervé dedicates himself to training and educating aspiring stylists, traveling to industry events across the globe throughout the year. He has honed and polished his craft in Paris, New York, Austin (where he owned his own acclaimed salon), Los Angeles and New Zealand. The son of a globally esteemed hair stylist and fluent in English, French and Spanish, Hervé brings a rich and diverse background to his artistry.
A budding NOLA-phile, Hervé is also an avid windsurfer, connoisseur of all things cuisine, music, and fashion, while cherishing his role as a devoted dad.
Master Colorist
Meagan Kinnard
With over two decades in the industry, Meagan’s story began with makeup artistry, working as a makeup artist in her aunt’s salon and eventually launching her own makeup line, Blush Cosmetics, from 2004 to 2007. Over time, her fascination with color palettes and the art of enhancing individual beauty blossomed into a profound love for hair coloring, leading her to attend the Aveda Institute. After becoming an Aveda Cosmetology graduate in 2009, Meagan worked as an Aveda master colorist and color mentor, traveling around the country training up and coming stylists, as well as receiving training. She joined the Lesley Rogers Hair team in November 2020, bringing with her a wealth of experience.
As a colorist for at least 15 years, Meagan possesses over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. She is not only an expert in her field but also a mentor to apprentices fresh out of beauty school. Her commitment to her craft is unwavering; she continues to refine her skills through ongoing education, always striving to create personalized colors that leave her clients feeling their best.
Beyond the salon, Meagan enjoys a harmonious life with her husband, Geoff, whom she’s been married to for a decade. They share a love for animals, serving as cat parents to three feline companions – Sofia, Jax, and Bijou. Her hobbies span a wide spectrum, from cooking and reading to boating, fishing, music, and astrology.
